Working with Naxell.
For the last couple of years, I’ve been helping a really great friend find his sound.
We have worked together at many different stages of his development as an artist and in the quest to finding his sound.
Finding a new sound might take years and Naxell has evolved and he is at a really good point in his career where he is ready to launch his first single later this year as a solist.
I was part of his band (when there was a band) playing the keyboard for a short time.
We recorded 4 songs in 2012 and I had the opportunity to record, mix and master the 4 songs. A year later, Naxell decided he wanted to go in a different direction with his music, after we incorporated the keyboards and of course electronic sounds.
As artist, we look for a sound that stands out, a new idea we can bring to the world and to our fans. A journey, Naxell has gone through, starting from grunge and rock music to nowadays sounding more electronic mixed with R&B.
Reminds me of the time when I couldn’t figure out the type of music I wanted to write. I seemed like I could develop sounds in a variety of genres. I understood that I could share my music in any style I’d like and let the listener decide if he or she is the right fit for me or vice versa.
As I’ve said before, if you enjoy classical music, Hans Zimmer type of music and Electronic music, you are going to like my music.
Being an artist is a journey as I mentioned before and I really appreciate being able to do what I love and to be able to share my music with the world; and I also appreciate the support I get from my fans.
